WTG (web traffic genius) Is easy to use, the only slightly tricky part is getting it all setup to start with, but even thats not a big task. All you need to do is go to the feed sites that require login and create an account, enter the username and password into WTG (They have created videos to show you exactly how). Then add a few items to be added to your feeds. That is all thats involved in the setup after that has been done its automatic.
Anthony and Tim offer great support for all their products. You can contact them via either their helpsdesk or their forum.
Full Review:
WTG is RSS submission software. It is designed to work with your WP(wordpress) blog, when you submit a new post the software will create an RSS feed for the post and submit it to rss directories automatically for you.
Because many RSS feed directories will not allow feeds that contain a single item WTG has a feature that allows you to add some default items to the feed, if you add say 5 items in your list and tell WTG to add 3 of them to the feed it grabs 3 of your items at random and adds them to your feed meaning your feed gets accepted by more of the directories the software is submitted to, which is a good feature.
You might be thinking some Feed directories require login, well yeah they do, but that’s not a problem, just set up your username and password for the sites that require it in the settings of WTG.
One of my favourite things about WTG is the stand alone submitter, it works in almost the same way as the WP submitter except you can just give it a feed URL and hit submit, it’ll then submit the feed to the directories you have set up and tell you if the submissions were a success or not.
OK so that’s what it is and what it does, now is it a must have tool?
For me it absolutely is, it has really help grow a number of my WP blogs, since I started with WTG more than one of my blogs has had an increase in pagerank and I hold WTG responsible for that. But that is nothing compared to the traffic increase I have gained.
Before WTG I wasn’t really doing anything with RSS and that was a HUGE mistake, even if you do not get WTG you should invest some time looking at RSS and how you can use it to its full potential.
I use it for my article directory author feed, feeds I create with videos in, feeds of my web 2.0 sites and some other bits tool, I use this tool almost daily and really cannot imagine not having it now.
